Lets Make Salsa.... Mexican Style.

The following recipe is simple to make and very traditional. We use it on EVERYTHING.

         SALSA

 INGREDIENTS:

            3-5 Jalapeņo Peppers

            1 Bunch of Cilantro

1 Bunch of Green Onions (sliced thin)

            1 Teaspoon kosher salt

            1 Teaspoon of cumin

1 28oz can of Whole Tomatoes (buy generic if you can)

Boil Jalapeņos in sauce pan until fork tender (about 15 minutes).  Let Jalapeņos cool (you can put them in ice water to cool faster).  To blender add can of whole tomatoes, half of the bunch of cilantro, salt, cumin and a couple of Jalapeņos (stems removed).  Blend but not to much.  Taste salsa, if not as hot as you like add 1 Jalapeņo at a time, blend and taste, repeat process until at desired hotness.

Once blended pour into bowl.  Add remaining cilantro coarsely chopped and green onions.  Stir and serve.
